Liebster Blog Awards

Posted by A.E. Marling in Awards

The hour you’ve all waited for is here, when I present the distinguished Liebster Awards to five blogs and six writers who have burned midnight oil extracted from kidnapped muses to bring you delightful and informative content.

Alessandra Hinlo
This writer was originally born in the Philippines, but now lives and works in the suburbs of Washington D.C. In her spare time (read: time she steals for herself), she writes about dangerous women and the equally dangerous fantasy worlds they live in.

If you haven’t followed these five blogs by now, then I can only assume you’re in a strait-jacket and unable to click on links. Oh, and I would like to give special thanks to Rance Denton, who gave the Importance of the Impossible the Liebster Award.

The rules for the Liebster Blog Award are:
1. Thank your Liebster Blog Award presenter on your blog.
2. Link back to the blogger who awarded you.
3. Copy & paste the blog award on your blog
4. Reveal your 5 blog picks.
5. Let them know you choose them by leaving a comment on their blog.

The Award: The Liebster Blog Award is given to up coming bloggers who have less than 200 followers.

The Meaning: Liebster is German, and I will roughly translate it as being a flaming-sword-wielding avenger of righteousness who carves truth out of stone with great-burning swaths.

  • Our names are Brittany and Nicole Pettibone. We are identical mirror twins (mirror meaning opposite – Brittany is left-handed and Nicole is right-handed). We’ve been working on a YA Dark Fantasy novel since October of 2009. It has been professionally edited and we are presently in the querying process. We love reading, writing novels and poetry, cold weather and coffee.
Thank you very much for the award!

  • Thank you so much for choosing my blog for this esteemed award. 🙂 I began the blog last month at the same time that I began my novel, which I call a “Fight Club” for soccer moms. I’ve received quite a few compliments in a month’s time. I’m pleased that people are responding to my particular brand of weirdery. Thanks again.

  • Well thank you so much for awarding me the Liebster Blog Award. It’s the first award I’ve ever been awarded and I’d like to thank my mum, my dad, my sisters Tara and Lenna etc etc but most of all I’d like to thank YOU the public!
